Join The IHAA

The Icelandic Horse Association of Australia (IHAA) was formed in 2008 by a small group of Icelandic Horse owners and breeders. The aim was to form a group to facilitate the registration of the Australian bred Icelandic Horses and, to generally promote and protect the unique qualities of the breed. Since the start of 2016 we are an Associate member of FEIF (www.feif.org), the governing worldwide body of Icelandic horse enthusiasts who help us stay in touch with the registration, breeding and judging goals, and have educational resources available from experts in the Icelandic horse world.

Summary: Social Media Policy Form & Disclaimer and Waiver Form

The IHAA runs a lot of the social aspects of the association, like fun games, IHAA members facebook page, competitions via a closed Facebook group (IHAA members) that only members have access to. If you participate at any games and/or competitions the results and photos, videos and names of participants will be published on the closed IHAA Facebook group, unless the person specifically requests not to have their content published. Occasionally the IHAA publishes content on the public IHAA facebook page and website.

The IHAA cannot be held liable in the event of an accident. Event participation is voluntary and should only be partaken by the person if they deem it safe for themselves and their horse. It is mandatory to submit this signed Waiver form before participating in any IHAA event, no matter if the person is a current IHAA member or not.
